Thats all well and good, and I really do understand where you're coming from but keep in mind Ben Bishop was still the lead producer during the Kush days and well, he didn't seem to have a problem with the game regressing each year from 2k6 on (Cinemotion WILL BE AWESOME I SWEAR!!11!). I remember him seemingly all nervous during E3 and gamespot stage demos where he looked absolutely miserable that he had to talk about NHL2k while trying to sound excited when you could tell he wasn't. Though if the game has had a crap budget since then and I think most of us can agree it prolly has, its not completely his fault.
I agree the change to VC has been positive, 2k10 was a big step in a better direction for sure. What I question is Take Two/2k's commitment going forward though, marketing or lack there of (which they pretty much suck at for any title that doesn't start with Grand and end with Auto to begin with) and a desire to actually compete head on with EA on the 360/PS3.
Its going to take alot more than just reassurance from some 2k VP to convince me they seriously want to do the series justice on the 360/PS3.
