Re: Does ESPN have create a team feature?
I just found out EA does and it can be in Franchise (something Madden screwed up):
EA SPORTS: Dynasty Mode™ is incredibly deep. Can you give an example of just how deep it is?
David Littman: Sure. Let’s say that you want to start your own team and bring them into the NHL. Choose a city, give the team a nickname and choose jerseys and logos for them. Customize your arena with goal horns, buzzers, board ads, scoreboard colors, and seat colors. Then pick your favorite players and created players and bring them in to the NHL.
You happen to be a GM that wants to build for the future through the draft; after all, it is a 20-year Dynasty mode. You hire some scouts and some better coaches, and watch your young players improve. During the year, you trade some of your veteran players for some first-round draft picks. The season doesn’t go so well, but since your team salary was so low, you managed to make a good profit for your owners. They are pretty happy and reward you with extra money to hire even more scouts and coaches.
At the draft, your scouts have found some great young talent for you and using the draft picks that you received from your trades, you draft three first-rounders. After signing those players to long contracts, you send them to the minors for some seasoning. With all of your coaches helping out, those players should become superstars in the league, and a few years down the road your Dynasty starts.
I know Sega doesn't have a dynasty mode, but if they just had a create a team feature like their other games (NBA, NFL) then I would be happy.Currently playing Axis Football (2020) as the Nebraska Thunder -
