Yeah- 99% of the fake players are now named on the team rosters- there might be one on a couple teams AHL rosters- I didn't rename the free agents and moved a few over. I printed the AHL rosters of all the teams as of last week so there were a few minor changes on the team you did.
I did try to boost most of the players up to overall 60 ratings that go to and from the NHL during the season.

ok awesome.. i went through the low rated guys on a few AHL teams and you had them as a prospect etc. shibby!!

as for the few, we will never know who they are now lol. not that it matters. im sure with us going through over the next month or so tweaking etc they will disappear anyway.

IMO the key is for us to have 13 forwards, 7 dmen, and 3 goalies on each AHL team. having those numbers at all times is key bc of being able to call up and then send down a guy at the same time and never hitting any roster errors.

with the above said, thats a mini task itself bc we gotta figure out who to keep and not to keep on the roster. but, we can cross that bridge IMO at a later date.

TS, do you have a Wii? i forget.. i have 2k11 and the updated rosters from NRY'88.. ill check his out and try and get the ratings for the NHL players similar. bc he did a GREAT job IMO..

right now, im gonna make sure all the capt/asst are correct on each team and try to piece together some decent lines for each team as well. instead of the auto lines the game creates.

question, the jersey numbers for the teams i did at the time were correct, did you make sure the numbers were correct for the teams you did? if not, let me know and i can do them as well.

I don't have a Wii...but I really like the input NYR88 provides with the rosters on the 2Kforum.

I didn't mess with the numbers for the AHL guys...also didn't touch C/A..

However, I did go with the right stick hands, height, weights on the AHL guys.

I simmed a season with the roster build and it produced very accurate leader stats and no freezes ( I might have to put 2K8 to rest)

stat wise 2k10 is awesome IMO.. esp if you use 18 mins for sim length.

just for the record..

as of right now, jersey numbers and correct capt/asst done on each team up to Montreal. (just combing through all the teams numbers just to make sure they are correct)

gonna grab something to eat, watch the Pens game (will edit a few teams during the intermission), and then get back at it after the game.

i also found we missed 5 players on NHL teams so far (up to Montreal)..

Thanks for the update...Should we also keep editing the retired players with low attributes so the CPU doesn't sign them ?

Most def, I have a few links for the retired players. I finished the guys that retired this past year but need to do the prior years still.

I did 3 more teams after i ate. Lol. Now Pens game.

ok, every team has updated jersey numbers, capt/asst's, and nhl roster current as of tonight (on each teams website). some teams have a player or two in the minors that shouldnt be, but its bc of roster limitations by 2k.

im gonna do the team line combos tomorrow, as well as knock down a few more retired players..

after all the above, can comb through the minors and make sure we have correct number of players etc.

Wow! Yep, I'd be happy to adjust some of the AHL ratings after you do the NHL lines, equip. tweaks, etc...

Correct lines all the way up to the Kings at the moment.

Since some guys pull double duty on the PP and that can't be done in the game I had to add a few guys here and there. Also most PK units are made up of 3rd and 4th line grinders etc. Just to even the time on ice out a bit for the players. Also, the line combo link I use stopped giving the PK lines for each game.

I should have the rest of the teams done by 5 or 6 tonight. Should key word lol.

I'm hoping to get to the goalie equipment tonight and be done by 1 or 2 tomorrow afternoon. I'm just gonna do the NHL goalies for now. Equipment won't be accurate as to what they wear but the colors will make sense.
