hey i've been busy w work lately but this weekend i plan on finishing the current rosters. i did my best with the kraken uniforms their create a team options are surprisingly limited for a 2k game. I'm also working on reducing all the retired free agents attributes to zero so if you start a season vancouver isnt going to sign martin brodeur. After the current player rosters are updated i'm then working on adding 1st year players based on molifoxs attribute model. mad shouts out to molifox for this. i'll post a file on sunday morn

hey i havent worked on this in a while. I was having trouble adding rookies based on nhl hutbuilders models vs. molifoxs orginal reboot. Example his Haydn Fluery was a 73, hut builder crossed with 2k attributes (un)balance was an 85. It will make the game unplayable if i add all rookies with higher attributes than their more established peers. Here is my last work, if molifox wants to continue working on this i will download.Attached FilesComment

I assume this would work the same way?
Convert NFL 2K5 Xbox rosters to PS2 rosters:
⦁ Obtain and open PS2 Save Builder program. The MYMC program also works.
⦁ Obtain a legit PS2 roster file (or save base roster from the game)
⦁ Obtain the targeted XBOX file.
⦁ Open the ZIP file that is the XBOX roster and find the largest file (maybe a few directories deep) It will be a .DAT file.
⦁ Copy that file to any location.
⦁ Open the PS2 file in Save Builder. You will see a BASLUS file. Rename the Xbox's .DAT file to whatever the name of the PS2's BASLUS file is (remove the .DAT extension also)
⦁ Right click and delete the PS2's BASLUS file in Save Builder.
⦁ Paste the new BASLUS (the Xbox's old .DAT file) into the spot where the previous file was.
⦁ Save.
⦁ Open in Finn's editor and hit OK on the error that pops up.

Hello all! I'm not entirely sure how enthusiastic those who have messaged within this thread are on a full-scale modification of ESPN NHL 2K5 for PS2(on PCSX2 preferably), but I have decided to create a shared Google Drive for collaborators to add and document their modifications. Live and near immediate access to modified files for the game will allow every potential collaborator to add to and modify each of each other's work, allowing us to work at an increased speed toward modifying the game (textures, rosters, and perhaps more).
As of now, I have modified textures for some logos, home/away jerseys for Boston with numbers and previews, and some menu/ice textures. No roster editing has been attempted; however, a directory has been created for those currently developing or completing a roster modification to share their files.
The link below contains the shared drive, including the above textures and a readme (to be expanded upon in the coming days).

This is fantastic. I absolutely love 2K5 although I will admit I prefer it on XBOX. I don't care for upscaling games on emulators because I actually think they lose rather than gain aesthetic value. Nevertheless, a good roster update even without graphic updates to this game is always welcome. I've been dying for it to get the modding treatment that NFL2K5 gets. You should start a discord to get like minded people involved. Then go into the other projects just to let people know what you want to do and see if any interested people offer their help.
