...and NHL 2002 is a distant memory. I blew out the Rangers 5-0, and a few things in the game convinced me that this is the best hockey game ever.
<ul type="square">[*]On my second goal, a shot from the deep slot bounced off of a defenseman's skate and trickled into the corner, with Richter diving too late at it.[*]Fourth goal, I cut across the slot with a defenseman screening Richter, who went down way before I shot and looked like he was trying to see around his own man.[*]After the fourth goal, the commentator (who largely suck, I do admit) said something like "Well, the head coach looks like he wants to make wholesale changes" Sure enough, Richter was pulled for Blackburn. Don't recall this happening in an EA game.[/list]
I'm still tinkering with the settings, but this game is a heck of a lot of fun, and much more realistic than EA's crap.
