    Computer Scoring

Does anyone know of a good way to increase computer scoring without using goalie edits?

I'm currently 25 games deep in my season with the Sabres and do not feel like starting over. I tried to increase offense skill a bit but when I did that I dropped 12 on Columbus. I'm using Grog the Nailers sliders (All-Star). I've been averaging around 4-5 goals a game whereas the computer is almost sub 2 a game.

Increasing the offensive skill should only effect the CPU. The same goes for defensive and goalie skill. The rest of the sliders apply to your team and/or game conditions like ice or puck friction. 12 goals against any team on All Star is very impressive, but afterall, it was the Blue Jackets. (I know, and I'm sporting a Thrashers logo...sue me)

It will be tough to dramatically increase CPU without edits. I would leave the offensive skill high for a few more games to feel it out. Take on a couple tough teams like the Leafs, Wings, Avs, or Canucks and see what happens. When I play with it maxxed out it's almost as if the CPU plays the whole game on a power play. They keep it in my zone forever.

Worse comes to worse, you could just play with one of your backup or minor league goalies as if your starter got injured. They should have a tougher time.

Or, start your franchise over after roster edits and sim it up to where you left off a couple times until your win/loss record is close to where you left it. And if you do happen to start over, try Hrudey32's sliders. They worked wonders for me.

That's all I can think of.....good luck man.
