The Wild vs. Stars thing is overrated these days. It honestly doesn't matter to the current players anymore. The media and fans might have a fit over it, but I'd rather the team find motivation during games that actually matter to the season. Like when the season was on the line and they LOST 8 STRAIGHT.

I've always wondered if people from Minnesota hated the Stars especially when we won the cup.The Wild vs. Stars thing is overrated these days. I'm sure for the old NorthStars fans, that stung. But there's a new team, and all the old players are gone. It's gonna be coming up on 20 years soon. Time to get over it and worry about the Wild fielding a competitive team to justify all the tickets that people buy.Comment

Well, the Todd Richards "era" is over before it started.
Now watch them bring back Lemaire.Comment

Also time to settle on a jersey design. I vote to keep the green-and-cream "Minnesota" alternates as the home jersey and make a road equivalent.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Those are nice. But I'd like to see the green with the diagonal "Minnesota" in block letters that they've had. And get rid of those hideous aways whatever the case.
I can't seem to find a picture of these. Am I just imagining what I want the jersey to look like, or did they actualy have them?
Anyways. Yes, this was their 10th year, and they've already had about 6 different sweaters.Last edited by ImTellinTim; 04-11-2011, 02:38 PM.Comment

The Canucks fan is talking about a team needing to pick one jersey and stick with it?
Anyway, I love Minnesota's home sweater, the red one. One of my favorites in the entire league.Comment

Re: The Official 2010-11 Regular Season Talk Thread
Caps in 6. Rangers are a tough test but without Callahan their PK is worse as is their offense. We can beat Lundqvist. This team is different than past seasons. If Wideman was back I'd say 4-5 games but this might go 6-7 because without him our defense is hurt big time. Luckily Green is likely playing.
If the Caps want to be serious they need to take care of the Rangers in short order. No BSing around for 3 games. I don't think that will happen, but with this team, you never know.Comment

That did pop into my head when posting that. It is kinda like the pot calling the kettle black, orange, and mustard yellow.
For the record, I'm a big fan of Vancouver's blue alternates (the slightly modernized stick-in-rink logo). They should use a white equivalent for roads and kill the orca once and for all. The giant "VANCOUVER" is also annoying as hell. I know where they're from, thanks.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Wrong thread. This one's for important things like jersey designs and colour combos.Caps in 6. Rangers are a tough test but without Callahan their PK is worse as is their offense.
