I love VS, since they pickup the Blackhawks game they black it out on Center Ice so by the time the Buffalo/Philly game ends (why not cut away early since that game was over), and when it switches the Hawks are already losing 1-0 awesome.

Nothing irritates me more than these stupid blackout rules, VS has two channels why not show the game on the other until the first game ends.

I hate when they finally switch to the game you want to watch and a goal has already been scored, game 1 wound up missing the entire first period due to the blackout, now game 7 it joins in and its 1-0.

Just frustrating when you want to watch your team play and by the time you join in you've already missed something.

Yeah, god forbid there's a minute of overlap so that the league's fans can actually watch the game.

Overlap is fine, but if theres going to be overlap they should let the game be played on the Center Ice package at least until the first game ends and it is picked up by the national broadcast.

As a Blackhawks fan I don't care about the last 3 minutes of a 5-2 Philly/Buffalo game, I watched most of that game and enjoyed it, but once its time for the Blackhawks to play I'd like to be able to watch them play, not wait for the last 3 minutes of a game where the outcome has already been decided to finish while missing a goal being scored in what is potentially my teams last game of the season.

I'm late to the Sabres/Flyers commentary... but what a lackluster showing by my boys. That was thoroughly underwhelming on every level. Philly absolutely took it to them. Buffalo looked like a high school team at times; totally bewildered with open gaps on defense. Miller really looked defeated after that first second period goal. What a terrible end to what had been an awesome late season rally.

Oh, and go Hawks. I wanted the Canucks to win this series, but I can't bring myself to root against Chicago when they're on the verge of history.

I think you misunderstood me. I agree with you. How does it hurt the league to allow Center Ice to show the first few minutes of the game? It's so trivial to black out the beginning of the game when the national broadcast is showing a game that's effectively been over since the middle of the 2nd period.

I've lived here for seven years and have never had a bad experience with any Franco outside of a couple of jackholes in my wife's family. And it's not like I there haven't been plenty of chances for rudeness to occur since I live in a very French part of the city, and my wife and I travel to the Bas-Saint-Laurent region at least twice a year for extended stays.

I'm not sure where you're pulling your stereotype from, but it isn't from reality.
