I guess Nashville is using it as sort of a mission statement. It does seem odd though.
Also, Karlsson is having himself quite a season. He might win the Norris.

Oh lets not fool ourselves Lidstrom will get the Norris because he's Lidstrom. Karlsson had a beauty in that game vs Boston the other night and I think a second point on an assist to Alfredson. Kid has some wheels that's for sure.Comment

If Lidstrom wins the Norris this year, might as well rename the award the Gold Glove.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. They also have a great record against their other most likely 1st-round foe in Chicago (3-0-1).Comment

As someone who's been watching the NHL for 30+ years, here's my advice: don't trust in season series results. The Blues will be a ***** to play against. I know I don't want any part of them. And Nashville is far more likely to play Detroit in the 1st round than Chicago.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. It will be interesting if the Ducks can work themselves into the mix --- that's going to be a bad draw for somebody.Comment

Blues-Preds would be a fun series (ie - bloodbath). But I agree, there's really no telling what the matchups will be at this point. San Jose was #3 and set to host the struggling Blackhawks, and 1 game later, they are #7 and playing the Wings on the road.

I'm really liking the Landeskog-O'Reilly-Downie line, and Duchene and Stastny had a great 3rd period.
Varly is playing solid in net, too, which is great news going forward. Very nice win for the Avs.Currently Playing:

20+ years later and the Oilers still rip our hearts out (thanks guys). I feel like this is going to be the game that the team and us Jets fans look back on and point to as the "what if?" game if we happen to just miss out on the playoffs.
Moving on from that, I can't believe how little the Blues have been getting talked about. They're 2 points out of 1st place in the entire league, they've allowed the second-least amount of goals in the league, and they're a beastly 26-4-4 on home ice. I had them as my "darkhorse" term last season but they fell flat. I definitely didn't expect them to be this good this year.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches.
