Tough to believe that Kunitz didn't get at least a 10-minute misconduct out of that. Perhaps yesterday's Devils/Pens game used up the refs' weekly quota?

they sure did get penalties.. Hartnell 2 for slashing on Martin post whistle, Neal 2 for roughing knocking over Hartnell after the slash, Hartnell gets up and starts more scrum ish and gets 2 more for roughing, then Kunitz knocked him down and rubbed his face into the ice for 2 mins as well..

          so yeah, penalties were accessed..

although Hartnell and Kunitz deserved to be thrown out IMO..

Pens with a great 40 mins, Flyers with a great 20 mins... Flyers should have won in regulation. Pens didnt deserve a point out of that one. terrible 3rd period, start to finish.

in OT, Neal had 2 chances to get off the ice, he extended his shift twice, that turned into the chance the Flyers got in the last few seconds.

should be a fun race down the stretch..

Yeah, refs should've thrown 'em both out, they kept going at it even with two refs on 'em... Kunitz looked bad grinding his face into the ice, but Hartnell wasn't completely innocent either.

Honestly, after that, I'm happy with even penalties.

Regarding the "Crosby's better" and "Jordan's better" chants... that's stupid. Crosby one is cool because it's true, the other one is just stupid. Eric's put up more points in every year besides their respective rookie year. I get it, they're taunting, but at least be right...

No one seems to want the 8th spot in the East while in the West, teams are racking up points.

Tonight it's all about the Leafs (sarcasm intended) as they try to stay in the hunt against the B's.

The Preds are taking on a lot of rental players this season.

Hope it works out for them.

All their moves so far have helped the team big time on the ice.

                      Here was the NHL.com report:

In a somewhat expected news break Sunday night, Alexander Radulov and his Russian team, Ufa Salavat Yulayev, "appear" to have reached a deal allowing Radulov to leave for Nashville, Slava Malamud of Russia's Sport Express reported via Twitter.

According to the report, Radulov and his Russian club have reached a compromise that allows the player to leave for the NHL. Radulov will pay back two-thirds of his remaining salary on a contracT that runs through April 30. Under terms of that deal, Ufa Salavat Yulayev woUld still hold the rights to the final year of his KHL contract and the out clause to the NHL would Remain in effect.

By playing in the NHL this year, Radulov would burn the final year of his entry-level deal and would become a restricted free agent July 1.

According to Malamud's report, Radulov could leave for Nashville on Tuesday. The Predators play Edmonton at home on Tuesday, in Pittsburgh on Thursday and at home against Winnipeg on Saturday.

Based on talent level, recent history, pre-season expectations, etc., would the 11/12 St. Louis Blues be the most surprising President's Trophy winners ever? I say yes.

Hell, being so bad to start, forcing a coaching change, then having this turnaround is enough to make it super surprising. I don't know all the history but that has to be up there.

He's pretty much undoubtedly the coach of the year too, right?

I see Hodgson finally got a point.
