This is the happiest I've been as a Rangers fan since 1994 when I was like 7.

Still can't believe it.

Now I can only hope for the pens and flyers to kill each other in a 7 game series and the rangers can advance far enough to face the leftovers from that series.

how hilarious was the Milbury stuff, calling Sid a punk, whiner etc.

yet Lil Danny Briere was whining hardcore about Vitale's hit being clean, but it was clear, that his intent was to injure. LMFAO.. wonder what Milbury thinks of that? maybe he will go beat up a 12 year old again..

i also wonder, if the Capitals finally clinch a Playoff spot over the next day or so, if all those Capitals fans that used to post around here will come out of hiding.

does Sid whine? yup. does every captain on every team whine? yup. its a part of the game. the most whining comes from fans like you and all the others you talk about, whining about Sid and the NHL wanting them to win it all.. whaaaaaaa..

well he is a Flyers fan, along with not having a decent goalie in how long, they have also been missing solid leadership from a Captain. it has shown over the years.

I know there's usually only one playoffs thread (until the SCF), but perhaps the mods can make an exception and designate a separate thread for PIT/PHI? I don't want to wade through 10 pages of Pennsylvania bitterness every time I feel like exchanging opinions on thrilling Blues/Coyotes games!

Malkin pisses me off way more then Crosby, let me just say that. As far as whining... who cares? Really.

I kinda like Crosby, but it was entertaining seeing the Flyers target him.

Briere is right, it probably was intent to injure despite being clean. I'm not complaining about that stuff though, at all.. And he won't and shouldn't get suspended or fined. That stuff happens at the end of tons of games, throw in this rivalry and scenario, and it was obvious. The real question is, what was Briere doing on the ice?

Whatever. I just want to watch this series. If the Flyers don't piss it away to NJ. I don't wanna see Florida. I think that's a trap.
