True, but it was the start of our 2 month struggle in the early-to-middle part of the season. There's been a handful of games in the past month that hurt as well, though, like the Florida and Colorado games, and the first Toronto game last week. Today's game really summed up our entire season. But as the Buffalo Sports Fan always says.... There's always next year.

It's gonna be a long wait for next season.

          #60 for Stamkos.

Crowd gives him a standing ovation as well. Good to see.

That's special. Only 20 guys including him have ever done that.

And only 2 since about '95-96. Ovechkin and Stamkos.

You know what's crazy is that the last person to do that and not make the playoffs is Steve Yzerman.

Stamkos is an unbelievable player. I was thinking about Winnipeg cheering that milestone. I don't think many other hockey cities would have been so classy.

We can trade in two Presidents' Trophies for one Stanley Cup, right? I think I read that somewhere.

If that's true, then we've got some issues, because I need to talk to somebody about exchanging the 1995, 1996, 2004, and 2006 Presidents' Trophies.

Red Wings, six Stanley Cups in the last 17 years. :feelsgoodman:

You already did, remember? '97 and '98, paid in full. All transactions final.

I'm interested to see whether Landeskog or RNH wins the Calder.

I expect Bolland will be back and if Toews is (and ready to come back and play at a high level) I can see this team really making a deep run, if not I won't be surprised if we get sent packing early on.

Mike Smith has been phenomenal down the stretch and I really am not looking forward to having the Hawks going against him but here's to hoping they can get it done.
