Well considering we had the best team in the regular season and were up 3-2 in the Stanley Cup Finals, I think the Canucks deserved to be judged harshly (minus all the idiots that think Luongo is a terrible goaltender).
When you have the best roster in the NHL and are coming off 1 victory away from winning the Cup, I think it's fair to say anything less than the Stanley Cup will be considered a disappointment. Now if the Canucks roster was like the Panthers, my expectations would be different.Comment

I'm a little shocked to see that some of you have the Pens going 6 or 7 in the East. They definitely didn't get any worse, and showed that they can still through out a good team without Malkin or Crosby. This team has depth, and I definitely could see them winning the Atlantic or getting the 4th seed at worst.
I guess it's good to see the Pens not get as much attention this year by some of you guys, but they're definitely going to be a force to be reckoned with (especially when Crosby gets back).
Then again, I might just be a delusional Pens fan. I hope not, though.

Pretty stoked for tonight, Boston/Philly and Pitt/Vancouver both on TV.. I'm not getting to sleep 'til late tonight, lol.

Well, the Flyers suck so far. The Read-Couturier-Hartnell line is doing well.

Cherry is already in mid-season form ranting about how the game is getting soft and calling out Stu Grimson and Chris Nilan (I'm pretty sure he called him Chris Neal) for speaking out about the dangers of fighting. I know Hockey is back when Grapes goes off.
I really enjoyed the Cup celebration in Boston. It was a nice touch to bring out members of the 72 Bruins.Comment
