I think Smashville comes out from the West, so any chance Q gets fired?

Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Well I look forward to seeing how the team changes in the offseason, definitely don't have to blow it up since I like our core overall but we need to sign role players who fit the team better.
Also excited to see how some of our young guys progress after getting some experience this year.
After this series with how bad Oduya has been I really don't want us to overpay him in FA, hopefully we can find a better option in FA, for as good as he looked towards the end of the regular season I'm really disappointed we gave up a 2nd and 3rd round pick for him due to how awful he has been in the postseason.
I don't think Chris Campoli is very good but other than his brutal turnover in game 7 against Vancouver last season he was far more consistent than Oduya was this year.
As far as goaltending goes I think we'll be looking at Crawford and Emery again since they already signed Emery, hopefully this was just a sophomore slump and Crawford will bounce back next year but I'm not getting my hopes up, would love to see an upgrade in net this offseason but I don't see it happening.Favorite Teams:

Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
I don't hate on any of the 4 teams remaining in the Western Conference. I think it's silly how Canadian and Original 6 fans rag on every team that doesn't play in Canada or belongs to the teams that NBC always shows (plus Buffalo).
The NHL has a lot of fans for some reason that want to keep the whole thing some sort of exclusive club.Comment

The mid-80s Winnipeg Jets are pleased with this turn of events.

As a one-off, I'm cool with the West semis of STL/LA & PHX/NSH. I love seeing matchups I haven't seen before and long-suffering fan bases getting their moment in the sun. If it heralds a long-term return to 1-0 games, then yes, I'll gouge my eyes out, but for now... why the hell not?Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Re: The Official 2012 Stanley Cup Playoffs Thread
Being a Kings fan and living in Arizona I am finding the second round of the west almost comical. With as much crap as the Pacific division gets from people around the league it's nice to see two teams from it still left. The Pacific/Central showdowns should be interesting.
Also find it funny how much grief fans of the original 6 teams and Canadian teams give the "non-traditional" markets. If you think about it, even those teams were "non-traditional" when they started. Maybe some playoff success is just what Phoenix needed to get more people around Arizona interested. With the Suns maybe missing the playoffs it will be a great chance for the Coyotes to win over some fans.NHL: Vegas Golden Knights

Not sure if Q will can him though and the only way I could see Q being fired is if Bowman gives him an ultimatum, change the staff or you're gone. That is pretty much the only scenario I could see Q being gone though and I don't think its a very likely one.Favorite Teams:

They're 2 years removed from winning the Cup with him behind the bench. It's not his fault Dale Tallon had to gut half the team because he mismanaged it.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

That's true, and the loss of Hossa hurts but I didn't think he had much of a game plan coming into this series.Comment
