Me too, Florida is my backup team lol. I became a secondary fan during the Beezer era, loved that team. Probably had something to do with the fact they played Colorado in the finals. Plus the underdog factor overall, which is why I'm a secondary Knicks fan thanks to the 8th seeded Spreewell/Camby team getting to the finals. (plus I liked Xavier Mcdaniel back in the day), and possibly because I hated the Bulls.

Well before I could finish this post I see NJ has scored so there goes that.

Although not a lot of people watched this series, it was very good. Kulikov's mistake cost them.

            Devils in 6
Don't think Philly can have that goaltending performance and win another series. Wouldn't be suprised if the Devils took it in 5 but Philly does deserve some credit.

            Caps in 7
As I said after initially picking Boston,Holtby would either get swept or he'd be the goalie that brings the team further than they should go. Caps won so I'm going with them here. Lots of close games and OT.

I guess I'll make some 2nd round picks even though they're bound for failure.

Well, I "wanted" NJ and now we got 'em.

I like the Flyers chances. Personally, I think it's destined to be a PHI/NYR East Finals. But I think those Capitals will push them to 7, easy. I can see Philly making quick work of the Devils in 5, maybe a short 6.

Like the Predators and Blues out West.

Predators and Coyotes series begins tonight at 9pm EST. Both series intrigue me, mostly because they are different teams. But who isn't happy for these two teams, after years of toiling away or not being able to get over the hump, finally making some headway. Funny that, I assume, Nashville is the favorite in this series after being perpetual underdogs. Same story for Phoenix. No love.

No one watching this game? 1-1 after Period One. Pretty good game so far.

Vrbata really squeezed that goal in, didn't seem like there was any space between Rinne and the post but the puck seemed to sneak in.

Preds got a bit lucky on their goal, Mike Smith really made a poor play on anticipating a puck behind the net, and it ended up bouncing out in front of the net, so he got caught with his pads on the ground.
