Funny how certain members of the US hockey media *ahem*John Buccigross*ahem* used to denigrate Briere on a regular basis because he wasn't Chris "The American God of Clutch" Drury.

Cheering for the Flyers in this series, but the puck over glass penalty has to go. It's no more an intentional delay of game than an icing is; why is it treated so differently? I'm afraid of seeing a Stanley Cup Final game turning on a stupid puck-over-glass or slash-that-breaks-wimpy-composite-stick call in OT. Probably when Buffalo gets back to the Final.

The puck over glass doesn't bother me. I agree that it's similar to icing, but I like how it forces players and goalies to be disciplined with their clears.

And it's one penalty they don't botch on a consistent basis.

What can ya say about Danny Briere? And these Flyers. I think the whole series is gonna be like this afternoon's game. The Devils will hang with Philly, only to ultimately lose time and again. They're a tough, respectable team, but I think the Flyers have too much skillful depth for them to handle.

Wild West shoot out in Phoenix. Turned it on at 1-1, 10 minutes later it's 4-2 Coyotes.

So everybody would be cool with 2 minutes for icing? I doubt it.

Treating it the same as icing (flip it over the glass, no line change permitted) would be just as effective at forcing players to be careful. If you want defenders to be extra reluctant to clear it over the glass, then have it count as in icing even if it deflects off the glass, then goes out. But 2 minutes is brutal.

Dang Suter can really rip the puck on his shots, 1 goal, and another one he assisted which was pretty much all him but just barely tipped in. He just blasts it.

One thing I notice with the Coyotes when they have a lead late in games, they start taking really dumb penalties. They did that in Game 1, and now they just gave Nashville a 5-on-3 which led to Nashville bringing it to within 4-3. Will this one go to Overtime as well?

Phoenix finally closes one out in regulation. Vrbata, and Doan really have stepped it up this series, great play from them for the Coyotes. Yotes really took an aggressive approach and made an effort to maintain more Offensive puck time, and get more shots.

Still really uncharacteristic, sloppy Defensive play from Nashville on their Defensive end, turnovers and just overall bad reads. Trotz is going to be ticked. Also who saw that ridiculously bonehead hand pass from Legwand, grabs the puck from behind his net and pretty much tosses it in front of an open net for a Coyote to tap it in. What was he thinking?

                      Ugh. Stop winning Phoenix.

What if they actually make it to the Cup -- or even worse win it -- and the NHL still has to relocate them? That would be the most unprecedented turn of events ever.

Yeah, the Phoenix forwards were dominating our d-men tonight. Turnover after turnover after turnover. Rinne really hasn't looked all that bad this series... he just isn't getting any help. Hopefully we can get a W on Wednesday and turn this thing around. It's been demoralizing so far. Phoenix is just playing with a lot more effort and heart. If we can't match their intensity, we may very well be golfing on Saturday morning.

Nah, just the puck over glass. Just adds a different element. It is similar, I just like how it is.

That was the worst game I've seen Nashville play in about 2 months.

                                So many careless turnovers.

And what is going on in the defensive end? There were plenty of defenders back on those Phoenix goals, but no one was actually picking up a man or stopping the guy with the puck.
