How long? I'm guessing Vegas has the Wings in the +180 to +200 range.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. I know it sounds so defeatist, but honestly - would you really put more than a throwaway sum of cash on the Wings tomorrow even at really long odds? I think everyone feels they had to knock out the 'Hawks in game 5 or 6, and that Chicago would be the overwhelming favorite going back home. I mean, we've all seen this opera before (many times, with many different casts). I'm not saying they have no shot, but I have no expectation that they're going to go into Chi-town tomorrow night and take a game 7 on the road from the team that has been the best all year and who is now playing inspired hockey. I expect them to lose, as do most people if they're being honest.
I don't think the Wings would get by either of the Cally teams, after playing 14 games through rounds 1-2 and not being particularly physical to begin with.
Home in a Game 7... Don't think it's an advantage. All the pressure.
I think it's about an even game. Detroit beat them three times already. Sloppy play or not, I don't see how you guys can say the Wings can't play with the Hawks when they already have.
The Hawks are better, but the better team doesn't always win. A bounce here or there, bad or missed call. It's one game for all the marbles.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

I think they said the home team scored first in every game, and the home game has won every game. I know the latter is true, the former I just think. Too lazy to look at the box scores.Comment

I hate when the media picks up on stats like this. I've probably heard 20 different people on different media platforms (radio, TV, print) bring this stat up (that the team who scores first has won every game of this series) like they're the only one who realizes it.
