I will say that I don't remember a team improving in one facet of the game from one series to the next than the Wings did defensively. They went from a complete yard sale in their own end against the Ducks to making solid plays all series long. Great series.

What was he supposed to do? Nyquist gets hit with the high elbow and Kronwall was between the skater and the goal. Went off his skate and that's a tough break. Hawks should have won earlier but that's how the cookie crumbles. And if you'd seen the cluster**** that was Detroit's defense two months ago you'd realize what an accomplishment it was to get as far as they did.

The loss sucks hard, but I was pleasantly surprised by the Wings throughout the series. Congrats to the Blackhawks fans on here.
