    Rather large asterisk there. Those '68-'70 Blues teams were rather mediocre, but because the NHL put all the Original 6 teams in one division and the six expansion teams in the other (and had divisional playoffs), there was guaranteed to be one overmatched expansion team in the Stanley Cup Final for each of the first three years after expansion. The Blues went 0-12 in those Stanley Cup Final games, and likely would've lost badly against any of the Original 6 teams in those seasons.

    And people complain about NHL realignment today!

            Tied 1-1 after two periods. Better than I expected. Gonna need to keep playing defense, and probably hope for a dirty goal to get a W.

            Chicago is winning the battle of the top lines.

                                                I'm anticipating an even-up call at some point because STL has definitely gotten the better of the calls. Hope they're up to killing it off.

                                                    Yeah, I am not expecting it though. Kings penalties have been penalties can't really complain. Only a couple of times in the game have I though the Blues maybe could have had a penalty, but it would have been borderline calls at best.
