When you miss training camp, you're supposed to be bad to start the year. Johansen didn't get that memo.

Larsson out, Gelinas in.
Can we just fire this idiot of a coach already?Originally posted by XXstormmXXThe reason I always root for multiple teams is because if one team doesn't make the playoffs or gets eliminated, I loose interest in the sport until next season if my team gets eliminated early. DrJones seems to have some insider info, so I was wondering if there were other negative anecdotes during his time as captain for the Oilers and Rangers.Comment

Well, he did basically the same thing in New York, but he was good at hockey at that time. They won a Cup so it was all good.Comment

Re: The Official 2014-15 Regular Season Talk Thread
Messier was my most hated player in the league before he even left Edmonton! Then add 1994 (bear in mind my second favourite team from the late 80s & early 90s was New Jersey) and his horrific tenure with the Canucks (and bilking them out of money a decade after the fact), and it's not hard to figure out.
Plus he's on TV all the freaking time now. The ubiquitous Sportsnet ads with him and the "family of Canucks fans" is trolling of the highest order.Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that.
