Wow that goalie interference call in Red Wings/Capitals.

    Top notch officiating right there.

I don't even know what to say anymore.

NHL refs are people who eat paste while staring into the sun and spent their childhood eating lead paint chips in their cribs.

People throw around the "that's the worst call I've ever seen!!!" line quite often, but Good God (Or, as Psy would say, Deer God).... Horrible call

Call was awful, but the Wings won anyways. Howard kept us in it while we were being drastically outplayed in the 1st and most of the 2nd.

Oh, wait a minute, maybe it wasn't such a bad call. Here's a different angle where you can clearly see the goalie interference.

Hall gets crushed about once a game. Beautiful hit by Ellis.

Also, Hall has to be the biggest cherry picker in the NHL.

Was kind of hoping for a Kesler tumbleweed.

The amazing thing is, neither Tim Peel nor Chris Lee was reffing this game.

I find it funny that the SportsNet announcers went right to the same "lowered the boom" cliche that Nashville's FoxSports announcers used to describe this play on the Tennessee broadcast.

Totally forget that they were teammates in Juniors.

With Raul Ibanez' career ending last night, Jaromir Jagr is the last active pro athlete who's older than me. (Which is strange; I figured there'd be baseball LOOGY or two still around). A strange feeling for a sports fan. I knew this was coming the day I randomly met Mike Peca and he called me "Sir."

Trivia: Who was the first pro athlete to play that was younger than me? Pat Falloon!
