Is it just me or is the lighting always really weird when I watch a game in Chicago? It's got like a blue hue to it.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey

Caps take 5 different leads in the shootout (including Orpik deking Luongo in Round 17!!!) and still lose. I'm impressed.
Only appropriate Jussi Jokinen would be involved in the longest shootout ever... Wait, why does the box score say Jokinen took three shots?Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. Jesus, that's a soft penalty call with like 4 minutes left in the game. And then the Hawks get the GWG on the ensuing PP.

Probably have to trade for a young top 4 that has potential to be a shutdown defenseman. Dougie Hamilton + Soderberg would be an interesting offer too, not sure if Bruins will do that though. (No idea if they have the cap space either).
I do agree with you on canning the management before trading Hall away.Last edited by Kobalt; 12-17-2014, 12:46 AM.Comment

How unlikely was that Orpik shootout goal?
Exactly 800 non-goalies have played at least 700 regular season games in the NHL. Out of those 800, Brooks Orpik ranks DEAD LAST with 13 career goals (in 733 games).Originally posted by Thrash13Dr. Jones was right in stating that. If Maatta wasn't so injured this year, Maataa + for Hall would have been an interesting base. I don't think any team is going to trade a young established 1st line defenders (IE: OEL) for a winger.
