Now if Hall were to be traded, where would be the ideal landing spot for him? Nashville immediately jumps to mind.

      "what?????"
Completely thought this gif was going to end up as one of those "make fun of Edmonton" moments.

Vasilveskiy making his debut in net tonight for the Bolts. Should be interesting. I've been waiting awhile for this.

Is it just me or is the lighting always really weird when I watch a game in Chicago? It's got like a blue hue to it.

RJ Umberger, with a whopping 5 points in 29 games, has one more point than Scott Laughton, who has played 13 games.

            Awesome.

Caps take 5 different leads in the shootout (including Orpik deking Luongo in Round 17!!!) and still lose. I'm impressed.

Only appropriate Jussi Jokinen would be involved in the longest shootout ever... Wait, why does the box score say Jokinen took three shots?

Jesus, that's a soft penalty call with like 4 minutes left in the game. And then the Hawks get the GWG on the ensuing PP.

If Maatta wasn't so injured this year, Maataa + for Hall would have been an interesting base. I don't think any team is going to trade a young established 1st line defenders (IE: OEL) for a winger.

Probably have to trade for a young top 4 that has potential to be a shutdown defenseman. Dougie Hamilton + Soderberg would be an interesting offer too, not sure if Bruins will do that though. (No idea if they have the cap space either).

I do agree with you on canning the management before trading Hall away.

How unlikely was that Orpik shootout goal?

Exactly 800 non-goalies have played at least 700 regular season games in the NHL. Out of those 800, Brooks Orpik ranks DEAD LAST with 13 career goals (in 733 games).

Wasn't able to watch last night but just saw a replay of this.

I was thinking along the lines of this:

Oilers receive: Seth Jones, Kevin Fiala, Colin Wilson
Predators receive: Taylor Hall, Boyd Gordon, 2015 2nd round pick

Yeah, but he's still no Marek Malik.
