Somebody make the special NBCSN cameras stop. I'm getting dizzy.
This is like when you get a video editing program for the first time.... the star transition and company are all really cool, then it gets old very fast.Comment

Re: The Official 2016-17 Regular Season Talk Thread
That's because you don't point out when people are blatantly wrong anymore but don't worry, I'll take point tonight.
NBC has told the NHL that tomorrow night's Stadium Series game between the Penguins and Flyers cannot go past 11 due to the SNL skit that is set to start the show. They've even pushed the puck drop up a minimal 9 minutes (or something like that to help).
Conspiracy theory's be damned but there are those here who are curious to see if there are several questionable penalties called in the waning minutes of the third if the score is tied.
There was no rush to get the game over nor was there a need to. They even switched ends in the third period.
SNL wasn't even a new episode tonight so what you said doesn't even make sense. Next time make sure your sources are correct please.Comment

Whoever your source for this info was was blatantly wrong. The game started well after 8 at it's normally scheduled time.

Also Hanzal to the Wild for a first, second, and another pick that could turn into a second.
I don't know much about Hanzal, but that seems like a ****ing lot.Comment

It's a weak draft, this is the year teams should give up their 1st for a playoff run.Comment

Re: The Official 2016-17 Regular Season Talk Thread
Eh. I always hear in sports about weak drafts and strong drafts. There's always people to be had if you're managing and scouting correctly.
But now I see that it's one pick this year, one pick next year and the conditional is in 2019. Seems better.Comment

With tonight's trade, I'm confident the Wild will not lose Game 7 at home in the first round of the playoffs.

Re: The Official 2016-17 Regular Season Talk Thread
We have a deep prospect pool, the picks are expendable. The time is now to make a run at the Cup; this is the best chance we've ever had. This is a gamble, definitely, but I like it.University of Minnesota Golden Gopher Hockey
