Colorado is a sick team when they have an extra player on the ice lol

Unfortunate. And how Wes McCauley doesn’t see that go in is mind boggling

Too bad I had to go to bed for work following the Hedman backhand goal. Was a really intense game.

Right after they called the game winning goal, my 16 year old son came rushing into my room, scared the life out of me. He was jumping up and down, screaming "they won! they won!" and I jumped outta bed and we jumped around together lol

Caught the highlights this morning, and wow I missed probably the best game of the series so far. Hope the Avs can close it out friday.

Unfortunate this tremendous game ends in some controversy. Even as an Avs fan, I acknowledge there were too many men on the ice. However, it was the way the game was being called as all four refs swallowed their whistles down the stretch. There were calls on both sides that could have been made. If this were to happen in the first period, I bet it would have been called.

Who knows, it's a quick game, a lot of subjectivity and it all evens out eventually. Bottomline, the Avs hung in there that first period and grinded out that win.

Still not overly confident as these Lightning are resilient.

It is what it is. Even Cooper back tracked a little. Im sure the PR dept for Tampa said something to him regarding last years missed call against the Islanders. He knows he cant have it both ways.

Seems to me its all fine and dandy if it benefits the Bolts, but it cant go against them without Cooper running his mouth.

Oh well, I am getting my house, dogs and kids prepped for a BIG cele tonight. Really hope to see Landy and the rest of the team hoist that cup. Been a long time coming.

That tripping penalty was kind of weak. But they got that rare 4 on 3.

I mean, the stick was literally between his legs. Not sure how you couldn't call that.

Agree I went back and watched the replay. In real time. I thought it looked weak.

That wasn't kicked in. But it's weird that pucks off the stakes still count. Seems weird.

I was actually kind of shocked with how many people in the ho key world were picking Avs to win tonight. I get that it was a possibility, but it’s the 2 time defending champion. If this doesn’t go 7 with a coin toss of who wins then I’ll be shocked.

Love how fans jump ship when its not even over yet.

No one ever said it was going to be easy, and it shouldnt be easy. Am I upset they lost, sure, I wanted them to win it at home. I refuse to give up and write them off, no matter how bad it gets.
