The end of the Vegas game, I thought they were celebrating just for fun, like they knew it didn't count but lets fart around and celebrate anyway. Then review comes up and it's like holy **** that legit went in

I'm mystified by all the "experts" criticizing Stuart Skinner for the GWG by Vegas last night.

He aggressively challenged the shooter, as you are supposed to do when you know time is of the essence, and quite literally forced Reilly Smith to take an angle that would have resulted in the puck going harmlessly past the net without a shot on goal, were it not for Draisaitl.

If he had stayed in his net and Smith had picked a corner and sniped it, those same people would be attacking Skinner for not challenging the shot.

It was an unfortunate bounce that barely beat the buzzer. **** happens.

Someone in the Colorado front office should be fired. They gave all that money to those guys and priced themselves out of being able to keep Rantanen (who, obviously, is miles and miles better than all of the aforementioned).

The Avs' core should've been Landeskog (even while injured), MacKinnon, Makar, and Rantanen. Literally every other player on the roster should've been expendable if it meant keeping those four together.

4 penalties for the Leafs in the first 16 minutes of this game.....

They haven't had more than 4 penalties in a game in almost 2 months and they're gonna do it in the first period?

Doesn't help that they're yet again playing scared as if they don't want to win. 4 shots in the period.....You'd think this team would actually play like they're up in a series.

If this is how they're going to finish the series vs the Panthers, don't bother bringing Marner back next year.

Marner gone for sure, Tavares better take an insanely team friendly deal or else he should be gone too.

I'd even just get rid of Rielly at this point as well.
