okay.......heres the deal on nhl 2003. after many days of indicision i went and forked out my hard earned cash for nhl 2003. i was somewhat apprehensive about the purchase but had developed e-nuff courage to take the chance. well, let me tell you i am glad i bought this game. i have been a diehard ea supporter for many years and thought i was going to make the switch over to sega this yr but after playing nfl2k3 and ncaa2k3 i had to return the sega titles and get the ea titles. i just couldnt do it! but anyway, nhl 2003 has been a total surprise, the game is much better than i anticipated it would be.( this is for the xbox, btw)the puck physics are really good along with the graphics and if u like alternative new rock then u will also like the ea trax, some tunes are already hits like jimmy eat world and default. the replays are good and the franchise is not as deep as segas but i dont have the time to worry about that stuff. that is small worries but the game gets a 9/10 from me. although that means nothing to u guys because each his own but i consider myself a pretty good judge when it comes to sports titles. i am sure that nhl2k3 is good but i think we as gamers have come to expect the perfect game and that is unlikely to happen. overall i think if you liked nhl2k2 then you will like nhl 2003, the grahics are solid and the puck physics are similiar. dont be scared of this game , rent it first before hand but i think you will be surprised by this one............thank you

If i never played NHL 2k2 then i would think Nhl 2003 was great. But its not. The AI has no sense of backchecking. The game feels slow and not responsive. The goalie animations are nice but i already seen some big flaws in 2 games.
If NHk 2k3 is the same as NHL 2k2 just a roster update then im happty as it is still a better game than NHL 2003.
HItz is even a better game with a deeper francshie than nhl 2003Comment
