Re: Rugby Challenge
I'd play as long as you don't mind that I'm not from the US, I'm getting bored playing the computer but wouldn't mind playing against people online that would play properly.

Re: Rugby Challenge
I was only joking
Although the natonal team isn't very good lol
But I would imagine it's simply because the USA is dominated by the NFL, not enough from for two big contact sports? Also, From my understanding there just isn't any rugby at grassroots level in order to allow it to grow.

Re: Rugby Challenge
I'm still not only learning the game, but the sport, so I'm guessing one of you guys can help out with this.
Near the end of games, a lot of my team are heavily fatigued and the opposition ends up having their way with me. I have a feeling I know what might be an issue and that is committing too many players to the ruck each time.
From what I gather, when I'm in possession and attacking, I should try and maintain possession but when defending, I should only try and get a turnover if I have an advantage when the ruck starts?
One thing I did notice is I would always commit tons of players to the ruck, and if I lost, it would leave me wide open for huge gains.
Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Update, I've been going back and watching old Top 14 games on ESPN3 and something else I just realized is that if I don't commit tons of players to the ruck and have players back, that could cause the AI to punt more.
When I started playing the game, I just assumed the best way for me to get the ball back was in the ruck. However, it's become obvious that over-committing players just gets you burned.Last edited by Krebstar; 06-13-2012, 10:04 PM.Comment

Of course your players won't be as tired also which is another benefit like you said.
