Yes, Rugby Challenge is region-free. We're hoping for pretty wide distribution though, so wait and see would be a good idea. Tru Blu are still finalising distribution territories and importing it might prove unnecessary.

Didn't Mario say on the forum that he was in the US a couple of days ago? That seems pretty promising.

That looks pretty damn awesome. I love that play where the guy took the contact and offloaded to the winger streaking down the sideline for the try and the chip, chase and recover for the try was awesome as well.

A couple questions:

There are no tackles involving more than two players, correct?

I guess two questions: Will the screenshot feature on the PS3 work for RC? It certainly looks worthy of a photograph thread similar the what the NCAA series has seen the past couple of years.

Do player unis get grass stains/mud in the rain on them? Does the pitch get torn up?

Can you pick and go from breakdowns? Can you pick the ball up with the No. 8 from the back of scrums?

For the record, they got a few things wrong:

- The first is that button mashing in the ruck works. It won't pay off. You need to be more strategic.
- The second is that player reputation is displayed in the lobby. It isn't, so you need to look at leaderboards for that.
- The third is that stadia can be re-named. This is not the case.

I always love career / association / dynasty type modes in my games so I'm very happy to hear that the career mode in this game seems WAY better than anything we have seen in a rugby/rugby league game before.

That and multiplayer with friends where I'll be spending most of my time with this game by the looks of it.
