Dang, I'm just wondering how many courses will be downloadable and how much per course? Kind of messed up. I meant to pick up Links for XBOX since I'm kind of getting into golf now but I never got around to doing that. Ya'll think I still should??

Check out this video of Tiger Woods 2006 from the X05 Conference today in Amsterdam... pretty impressive stuff!

GameSpot is the world's largest source for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, PS Vita, Wii PC, 3DS, PSP, DS, video game news, reviews, previews, trailers, walkthroughs, and more.

I think you have to enter a free registration with Gamespot to see this, but it's painless and quick, from what I remember.

        After watching fully:

This video is truly amazing; the graphics are eye-popping!! One thing I noticed during the first shot hit is that the camera angle for the shot is unlike any of the other console versions. It's higher and further away from the golfer, somewhere in between the default auto cam and default fixed cam views of the PC version.

I take this as a sign that this game may at least be breaking from the mold of the XBox, PS2, and Gamecube versions. This could give some hope to the interface and overly generous physics we've seen in 06 console versions thus far. However, my eyes glazed over when I saw DJ hole his short iron approach shot from 150 yards out in the rough for a "par"...... (sigh). The XBox 360 deserves a more fitting simulation treatment, at least as an optional play level or mode. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

One positive sign was that I didn't see any frame rate problems, as mentioned in the IGN First Look. I also though the gallery looked pretty good... animated too! I think this will help tremendously with the feel of tournament golf.

Definately pick up Links if not for the gameplay then for the graphics which are still way ahead of TW06 and looks like it will be pretty close to TW360. If you're just into playing a round to see how low you can score then Links' career mode will keep you happy at least until the next version comes out.

This is what I am afraid of..and praying for another 360 Golf game to come along. Tiger will give you holes at random and you finish with a guilty feeling that you didn't deserve it.

I cannot for the life of me understand why EA doesn't put sliders in for stick sensitivity for driving, irons and putting. If all thier interested in is making money then sliders is an easy fix to make all buyers happy and thusly increase thier profit margin and there's no need to overhual the game and keep part of it as Super Mario golf for the toddlers.

Sliders? I wouldn't have much hope for EA Sports being able to implement sliders in this game. Hell, they can't even the simple "ON/OFF" options to work in this game!? "Big Hit Cameras" and "Pressure Moments" continue to run, even though you've got them turned off in the options menu!

I like your idea though... it would work if they could just implement it. This game has me so angry right now that it isn't funny. I can't ever recall feeling more ripped off in a game purchase than I do with this one. I'm convinced that EA Sports released this game knowing that it was both incomplete, and bug riddled!
