better it off by default for "live" play...if you want to go random it will be on..

Last year's was something of a step forward. Still just too easy though and I really wish they would give us landing camera options since I'm tired of the ball tracking camera...

Just watched the gamespot developer interview, and i can say that i'm disappointed with what i saw. It looks pretty much the same game with slighty improved visuals and bigger crowds. That same CRAP ball following camera is still used which just ****s me to tears. I know it's early but EA just drives me carzy bringing out the same stuff slightly imporved year after year

I feel the same way. I've purchased Tiger 03-06 on the PC and a few on the consoles and I can't tell the diferrence between them. For some reason I keep going back to TW 2003 the most. Links to this day is still my favorite Golf game and i'm glad I still have Links 2004 for the Xbox.

Why can't anybody (I think 2K bought it from MS) just clean up the graphics in LINKS 2004, make it compatible for the 360, add a few cheesy modes to "market" to the masses (actual game play mechanics would barely have to be changed) --- They could then release this for $39.99 and dominate the 360 ? Sounds like an easy thing for a developer to do....

Links 04 is one game that I will never get rid of. Even if I were to lose the Xbox, I'd keep LINKS... just in case.

One of my Top 3 sports games of all-time.

Yeah I agree his grin doesn't look natural at all. It has that "Joker" style from the character in the Batman movies to me. EA took the grin from their NHL 2005 and NHL 06 graphics library and reused it for Tiger 07.

What's even funnier is the Tiger Smile they use in TW06. I swear everytime I see Tiger smile and wave to the crowd and showing his giant chicklets it reminds me of Eddie Murphy's voice character, "The Donkey" in the Shrek Movies.

Gamespot quietly snuck a high definition (their term anyway) video interview of DJ Powers, Associate Producer of Tiger Woods 07 onto their Tiger Woods 07 page. It's got some information that we haven't discussed here so far, plus DJ talks about the new competitive modes. There will be a match play ladder in this year, in addition to the 2007 PGA Tour's Fedex Cup system. You will compete against the other PGA golfers in a regular PGA Tour, trying to finish in the top 30 players to qualify for the 4 event "playoffs" for the cup.
