Power boost in tour Difficulty

If playing on Tour Difficulty, is the power boost pointless. I mean as far as extra add-ons, and increasing the power boost stat, or does it make you drive longer with out pushing the power boost button?

Power boost and spin are disabled in TOUR mode, thank GOD!

I know they are disabled, that is not my question. Since they are disabled, does it do anything as far as stats, or bonuses, if you have shoes that help power boost? By wearing said shoes does it still help a longer drive or is it just dasable period. Even in Tour mode, you can still increase the power boost of your character right, but would it make any sense to do that? Spin is different because you can still add spin with the loft stick, but with no power boost is anybodyseing that it helps in any other way, even though you can not push the button to put boost on the ball?

I believe those bonuses do nothing for you on Tour Pro.

Not true...

The spin attribute still has meaning in tour because you can loft the club using the right thumbstick... as you increase your spin attribute, you'll increase your ability when you pull back all the way too.

It's a waste to buy shoes that'll help powerboost, yes.... buy shoes that help the other stats, unless those are already maxed out and the powerboost shoes are fashionably better.

You're right about being able to adjust spin with the loft of the club.

Yes, but having a higher spin attribute allows you to spin it better with the loft...

His original question seemed to be like "should I bother upgrading my powerboost/spin?"...

And my answer is, powerboost doesn't matter, but spin still does if you are going to use the loft stick or whatever you call it.

That is my question. So no to power boost and yes to spin. That is what I though, actually might work out better that way, one less thing to work on.

Correct...

And to prove it, play the demo and use the loft stick for spin, then try it as your regular character who has no stats yet... you'll see the difference!!

But the powerboost stats will come naturally as you beat players and do any of the training exercises...
