Is there any way to lower your attributes?

I decided to use Microsoft points to unlock all the courses and max out my player.
Is there anyway to actually lower my player's attributes?
If there is, I haven't figured it out.

Sidenote: Shame on EA for making us pay for this shyte.

I think you can goto your profile options for your created players and theres a option for the unlock stuff for each chracter... you might be able to turn the max player off..

You weren't forced to pay for it. You could've just unlocked it.

I do think that it should've been unlocked from the start, but really, you aren't forced to buy it. I refuse to buy that stuff. I'll just unlock it as I go.

I will say, the more i think about it, the more i can see why they did this.

How many video game companies have HINT LINES you can call on the phone and charge X amount per minute... Codemasters, EA, Nintendo... just to name a few.. so what makes this any different? Nothing.

For those that want to get everything easy, then pay for it. *laughs*
For those that want to do it the old fashioned way, go for it.

I'm very disappointed that I can't allocate my attributes the way I'd like in this game. The only tool that I see for regulating your player's strength is to play the Tiger Challenges until the get the skill limit lock line to the percentage of the skill you want to restrict the most.

I've decided to try to restrict my player's Power attribute such that he's averaging about 285 yards off the tee. I'm not sure where that's going to occur just yet. I'm at 58% percent power, and my guy is averaging about 260 off the tee. I'm guessing it's going to occur at ~80%.

Once I get to that point, the Tiger Challenges will be off limits. From what I've seen, the only way to raise that limit lock is to win matches in the Tiger Challenge. If I play the Rubber Band AI Season mode, my player will continue to accrue skill points, but they will be untapped or unrealized skill points above that red line.

Finishing Season events will also raise your shot limit.
            Thanks for the advice.

Oh nooooooo.... say it ain't so! I just realized something; I haven't actually finished a season event yet. I've made the cut on the first tournament with my latest character. I had done the same thing with the first character I was building under the wrong profile name. Anyway, I've noticed that my unrealized points have grown with each tournament round, but the limiter was where it had been set by the Tiger Challenge.

This game is presenting so many dilemmas for me in areas that should have been covered by user controlled options. I don't want to play this game with a maxxed out character! I'm amazed at how a game that gets so many complicated things right, can drop the ball on so many obvious issues!?
