    Tiger 08 Wii (Wishlist)

This game should be insane if EA takes advantage of the Wii Mote. Wii Sports Golf is a blast using the Wii Mote to hit the ball it feels vvery natural. Anyone else looking forward to next years Tiger on the Wii?

curious if they are porting the 07 version at all...noticed it was not out yet..maybe they are using the time to enhance it? Or maybe they are just waiting for 08...

I know this is the Wii thread but please add TV style presentation. This whole "you are the ball" thing is completely out of hand. Listen EA, golf is more about the course than the golfer or the ball. I know you're trying to make games where I can trash-talk my little brother or some gang-banger can feel at home strutting his stuff after shooting a kid down the street for a pair of Nikes but this garbage has to end. You can't make the game what it's not.

Oh, and sync up the swing better with the joystick. There's a little bit of a lag which is mind-blowingly annoying.

Oh, and sliders. While you're at it, spend a couple hours coding it so I can tweak how far my guy hits his clubs. Guess what, just because a guy hits his driver 305 does not mean he has to hit his 3-iron 220. How about lag, mid-range, and close putt ratings? How about a clutch rating? How about side-hill ratings. How about allowing me to hit a low shot with a lot of spin. Guess what? It IS possible to hit a ball low with a ton of backspin. How about more options around the green. Less precision on long shots... more on short shots. I can aim for a spot on the green in real life, a tiny spot, and hit it most of the time. I'm not even very good.

You know what, make your games work for us sim players as well. I know you think that safe decisions and shooting for the lowest common denominator is a sound approach but everyone who hasn't caught on to you yet is catching on now. Merry Christmas... now CHANGE.

Still, is there any word on whether these games will have "ported" controls, or will take advantage of the Wiimote for control. WiiSports Golf is fine, but the controls are very "demo" like. I hate how the follow through controls the strength of the shot and not the back swing like in every other game.

If you could nail down the swing with the Wiimote, TW0x could be pretty good.

The reason the Wii version of TW07 was not a launch title is that EA is working to make the control work with the Wiimote.
