TW 07 for Xbox??? Worth getting

Is it worth picking up? Or can I still shoot in the 50's with ease or did they add sliders?

As someone who has invested about 40 hrs into the game, I would say it isn't worth getting, and here is why:

1) The PGA Tour Season is virtually impossible to win on, as the AI scales its play to how well you do. (AI Golfers will often break 55 in rounds)

2) Some items will not unlock from the Pro Shop

3) Online play is ridiculously skewed (people shoot in the 40's)

4) There are reports that some achievements do not unlock, just like with other EA 360 titles

Actually,this game is better than what you'd probably think it is. The graphics are good for current gen-there are a good number of courses and golfers(more than the 360 version) and-yes-you do have sliders for you and the AI that ACTUALLY work. And when adjusted to your style,the AI can give you a very good run for the money. Now-I haven't played season mode. I basically get golf games to play stroke,skins etc. I don't know about cheating up on that. All things considered-if you like golf,and for 30something bucks. I think it's a good deal. One more note:of course the 360 version is good too-it has better physics and the graphics are a good deal better. Enjoy

1. Not true at all. I have won roughly half of the tournaments I have played on the 360 version and I am one tournament away from being finished. The AI does some things to make it competitive and it surely is not terribly realistic when it shoots a ridiculous score to stay in the hunt, but the tournaments are winnable.

2. A handful, yep.

3. Play TOUR Pro mode only and you will rarely find anyone shooting sub-60 scores.

4. Haven't run across any in my experience but I have heard of a handful that users have had random issues with.
