Consistant lockup glitch....

3 times in a row now I have managed to lock up at the same spot...

In my career mode, Tiger challenge, The Chris DiMarco segment, when playing Henrietta Brockway in a skins match at Carnoustie, right after the second hole it locks up halfway through the load screen... I have been losing and winning during these attempts so those variable were different, I have gone and played another challenge, saved my progress and went back to it and it still locked up so I don't know what to do now...

I think someone on this board is a forum admin at the EA website ?? I hope you look at this and become aware..


I am so completely bummed out right now as I have been having a blast playing so far. I hope something can be done quickly...

got the henrietta one twice!! Restarted the box and i finished it...someone else had a prob with same hole on the xbox forums..

I restarted each time it happened to no avail obviously... but as long as others are having the same problem, I guess it is an unfortunate good thing... EA will have to listen to (imo) a major problem across multiple systems...

Keep us informed because if that's true i'll pass on this game and stick with this years PC version.

Have you guys tried swapping your game disc at the store?

I restarted each time it happened to no avail obviously... but as long as others are having the same problem, I guess it is an unfortunate good thing... EA will have to listen to (imo) a major problem across multiple systems...

Try clearing your memory cache by holding the a button until you get to the start screen seems to have helped some on the xbox forums.

I have not encountered this bug in two tries, but EA is aware that it is happening, so stay tuned. So far, pressing the A button upon startup of the 360 seems to be the only workaround for those seeing this issue so far. Thanks for the feedback.

OK so Rac says they're aware of the Tiger issues and will address them in an update in the near future. Until then clearing your cache should solve the problem.

OK so Rac says they're aware of the Tiger issues and will address them in an update in the near future. Until then clearing your cache should solve the problem.

what does it mean to clear your cache? how do i go about doing this?

Turn on your Xbox360 via your controller, hold down the A button the entire time the system turns on. Once you are at the dashboard you can let go of the A button and start the game normally.

I actually just did this a short time ago and was able to get past the glitch... I failed the challenge and restarted, got past the glitch, failed again... Restarted, was 1-1 and locked up again... I will try and clear the cache again and try more later...

Anyone else unable to get the "workaround" to work? I have tried holding the "A" button from booting the 360 with the game in/game out/booting the game from the dashboard and trying to pull up the Live menu as the load screen comes up where the lockup happens but am still unable to get past this lock up?

Any words of wisdom??? I really want to finish up this henrietta brockaway challenge.
