3 click method

It's a shame this method is unsatisfying.

It's nice they added it back in and I feel like I can get more dialed in results on chips and pitches and delicate shots with the 3 click.

What is lacking though is any kind of feedback. As soon as you hit the third click the meter quickly disappears barely giving you a chance to see where you locked the last click in.

Hotshots had both audible and visual cues to let you know how well you hit your spots.

A cool way to handle this would be to allow you to place a marker on the meter where you intended to stop it. So say you wanted 73%. You could put a | mark right before 75%. Then click to start then try to stop it at 73% and have it turn green if you click within 1% of that mark and then when it comes back for accuracy have some sort of visual indicator or sound that lets you know how dead on you are.

Is this akin to the "Pull out method"? That method is also unsatisfying. Nothing like being in my 30's and laughing out loud at juvenile jokes.

I haven't picked this game up yet, but I will soon as I am intrigued by not being able to hit the fairway on every drive. I thought PGA Tour III on the Genesis was awesome and the 3 click method worked just fine for that and no one even got close to getting pregnant. So I could like to try this so called three click method once again.

Yeah, but it's not "digitally precise"-the feedback will tell you hook or slice (that's all I've seen so far). It's no big deal, just wish they'd display the connect meter longer. I prefer the 3 Click System-is it an advantage over the Analog Swing?

Good question-unless it's frowned upon online (much like "stick VS buttons" in FightNight 3) I'm sticking with the "3 Click".

3 click also needs big time help if you reassign your distance.

Say you have 60 yards or so to the hole.

The pitch is wrongly only given to your wedges. I can pitch with a 9, 8, or 7. You just open the face a bit and take a similar swing. I know Tiger can pitch with lower clubs, I've seen him do it on TV.

Anyway, that is another issue, the issue here is if you are outside of Pitch range you have to go Full Shot, well... Full shot even with a LW is much farther than 60 yards, so you have to back the distance down and move the marker to hit more around 50% or so.

Problem is the meter moves just as fast as it would for 100%. So if you want to do a 25% full shot best of luck to you. If you don't hook that you have impeccable reflexes and might I suggest signing up for space travel or flight school?

The entire Tiger Woods series short game needs to be revamped. You can see the weaknesses of it by the shot suggestions that are offered in short game scenario's, the game itself has no clue what it wants to do around the greens.

You sir, are dead on accurate with everything you said. The lower pitch shot is pretty much a staple on links style courses too. It's not a punch shot, it's specifically a bump and run. The short game in this series needs to be completely overhauled. Golf is all short game.

Yep,

Sand play, putting, chipping, pitching and anything inside 100 yards doens't work all that great in this game.

Chipping seems to do nothing more than slam the ball into the green. Hitting out of the bunkers is really just a percetage off of full swing shot.

I loved how Links PC handled this year's back. Tiger has never gotten this right.

On the highest level of the Tour mode the 3 Click System is not available.
