Which version 08, 07, or 06? (360)

I've played the 08 demo and really liked it. I haven't had a golf game since European PGA Tour on the Genesis (and I got that free as part of a buy 2, get 1 free deal-think EA would ever do that again?!). Are there really any big differences between any of the versions? Is there a version that you would definitely recommend? Since I'm not a huge golf fan, I figured I could save some bucks and get one of the older versions.

If your not a huge golf fan and want to save the money I would recomend 07. However, I think it would be worth it for you to rent both and see if it would be worth the difference in money.

If you get a chance pick up Links 2004. You can probably find it for $5 used.
It was released on the original Xbox and is BC on the 360.
IMO, it plays a better game of golf than the TW series.

Matter of opinion...played both Links 2004 (GREAT GAME) and TW08. I like 08 better from a gameplay and courses perspective. Not to mention online play in Links 2004 is a ghost town and TW08 is just cranking up. To each his own...

Well, yeah, Links is like a 5 year old game...I wish we could have Links control and TW options/courses
