Diffence in tour mode between easy..balanced and hard?

I am just starting out on tour mode without venturing into any of the challenges . I have selected rookie tiger and picked balanced difficulty... What does do these levels effect? You on game play or the computer generated scores you are going up against?
After my 1st round with Balanced option selected. I posted a 4 over 76 with a best drive of 280 yds with rookie tiger averaging about 265 yds a drive and I trail The leading Ernie Els(-6) by 10 shots. By selecting easy or hard does that change my difficulty of how the swing stick reacts to how I take it back and follow thru or do the selected difficultys change the # posted by the computer generated golfers? ex: Easy...The leaders are closer to par ... I would appreciate any answers from those that have had time to check out the differences. Thanks - B.C.

You won't see any difference from the field AI in the level you are playing on, they will play up or down to how you are playing. Your next round they will shoot worse and make their scores similliar to yours... this happens on every difficulty level by design...

The main aspect of the level change is your punishment for swinging the analog stick off drop dead center... the harder the difficulty, the more exact you need to be and the ensuing hook/slice will show you just how far off you were...

My advice for playing on the harder levels, use a longer club with a slower backswing/downswing to ensure you are hitting it straight rather than with power...
