Improving OUR skills

are there any multiplayer modes that me and another can improve our skills at the same time? Im not real big on having to play by myself, "practicing", to improve. I would like to play skins or whatever and at the same time, improve ourselves.

I havnt figured it out yet so please help if you can. Thanks.

How do you even improve skills? I can't figure out how to do it. Any time I play a round I only improve my potential.

You gotta play tiger challenge mode to raise that ceiling... Every time you beet someone in the center of the cluster, the ceiling moves up.

To the original poster... I'm not sure, but I thought your skills go up a bit when you hit a great tee shot or a close approach shot (obviously improving this way is slower than doing the skills training). I don't know if this is true in multiplayer or quick play mode, since I've only been playing the tiger challenge mode as of late. I do know that you don't "have" to do the skills training (or whatever its called) to up your skills though.

That's the way it worked last year, yup. If you put spin on the ball, you'd get a spin bonus for that shot. Use power boost, and you'd get a power boost bonus (only if the shot landed in the fairway).
