Can TW08 have multiple created golfers play each other???

I created a couple of different golfers via photo game face of me and my buddies. I was thinking we could all create ourselves and then load them up and play each other. However, when I tried to load them up, it would only allow one created golfer to be loaded at a time. Is this right? I have tied each created golfer to a new profile, but the same gamertag.

Is this not possible??? It seems like it should be to allow for this very situation. I have to be missing something....hopefully.

Looks like they changed it this year. You can play other created players in TW 08, but you need additional controllers. Last year, I could create golfers and play against them in stroke play. But this year I can't do that, as each created golfer requires its own controller.

You know, it really is f'ing ridiculous the way they arbitrarily remove features like this from games. EA in particular loves to do that. And the thing is, it probably takes more programming work to remove the feature, than to simply leave it in the game.

I've decided not to buy TW 08 for this one reason alone. Most of my playing time consists of playing CPU opponents I've created in Stroke Play, opponents who are not as good as the default pros that come with the game. That way, I get to win once in a while Without this option, the game is a waste of money for me.

You made a good point-it's YOUR game-you pay YOUR money to enjoy it YOUR way-why should EA take that away from you?! I',m mad because I'm not able to unlock a course unless I jump through their hoop first.

Lol, back to the original post... I found that it is possible to play multiple created golfers on one gamertag if you stick to just using one controller.

Ok, this is assuming that you put all created players under one gamertag...

You click in the left analog to go into Profile Management and load up the created user profiles in all four slots...

When in the Golfer select screen, hit X to add golfers as usual, make sure that the controller number stays on 1 for each golfer. Scroll around and you should be able to use all the user profiles at once. That should be it.
