When the 4th Round DOESN'T count...

Someone brought this up in the "Tourneys still suck" thread but it really deserves its own thread...

Imagine someone playing Madden on-line and they complete an incredible 4th Quarter comeback to win the game... woo hoo! Awesome! But when they check out their profile after the game, it's counted as a loss because they were trailing after the 3rd Quarter...

Well - multiple people have confirmed that the tournaments payouts and FED EX POINTS for 4-round tournaments are being distributed using the results after 3-rounds.

This is an incredibly HUGE bug - how on earth can we communicate this to the correct person at EA to get it fixed? (Save the jokes, looking for solid answers here)...

I have no idea but it ruins the tourney mode. Thanks EA.

They didn't get my 60 bones because of it. An absolute f'n joke to allow that to be in a game. The Cub fan in me says wait until next year. LOL

Its unfortunate that we have to keep waiting until next year with EA sooner or later we'll all be dead. I wonder if there are complete video games in heaven or we all just go to hell and have to play incomplete EA games for eternity.

does anyone know if it "cures" the problem by setting each tourney to three rounds? No excuse for the bug, but a workaround nonetheless if it works.

Why does this deserve its own thread when you already mentioned the other thread about the exact same topic?

This blows. I had just gotten to the point of being able to deal with the rubberband AI when I hear about this problem. I guess it's single round tournaments for me.

Cautiously optomistic good news... finally got one of the forum moderators at EA to acknowledge the issue and he replied saying he'd pass it on to the producers and hopefully they can fix it with the next update... keep our fingers crossed...

not trying to insult anyone by saying this, but you have to look at how much money madden is making compared to Tiger Woods. The money is the big issue. Making a Patch and putting it out costs EA money, they have to pay for the hours put into that. If Tiger Woods does not make as much money as Madden, why put money into it when they can put money into the cash cow.
