I just got Tiger '08

It's on it's way, picked it up from Goozex. I really enjoyed the demo. I was wondering if there's any settings everyone recommends for the best golf experience?

I would absolutely start off with Tour Mode difficulty. It really does a nice job of raising the bar on difficulty Jistic. Thats what made the game so fun for me last year, and what had made Hot Shots Golf so fun for me this year.

Starting out on that difficulty will be a struggle to hit your drives straight, but it really adds to the fun

I second the instant jump to TOUR PRO mode. It actually forces you to incorporate tempo into your swing, while also getting rid of the in flight spin control etc. You take a few lumps early on, but it makes for some enjoyable rounds down the road.

Loving the game so far. But I have a question. My potential ratings are all going up but my actual ratings seem to be all capped at 10. Am I missing something? Is there something I need to accomplish so break this barrier?

Got this from another board. Can anyone confirm this?

If you're referring to the stat limiter, then you have to beat the players in the center of the pods to get those to move up.

I just picked this up a few weeks ago too. You have to go to the Tiger challenges to raise those limiters. Beating the people in the middle of the circles indeed raises that limiter. I think they should have allowed other ways for you to raise that limiter. You should be able to make your player better by just playing the PGA tour mode also.

I just picked this up a few weeks ago too. You have to go to the Tiger challenges to raise those limiters. Beating the people in the middle of the circles indeed raises that limiter. I think they should have allowed other ways for you to raise that limiter. You should be able to make your player better by just playing the PGA tour mode also.

I agree. It's maddeningly addictive however trying to get better at this game.

Kinda like real golf. I can hit a thousand shots into the woods and swear up and down that I'm giving up this game...then hit that one perfect shot....and I'm back.

There is SUPPOSEDLY a three click method of swinging, but I can't get it to turn on!

Pretty sure if youre playing on Tour Pro difficulty the 3 click swing is disabled.
