Locked courses - 10 out of 16 locked?

No locked courses in the PC version. Plus dozens of fantastic user-created courses available for free download.

Starting off with a limited skill set.

In the PC version, you can start with your created player as a pro with 75% attributes. Or you can use a hex hack and edit your attributes (and money) to whatever you like.

Three-click putting/driving. Why is it restricted to the easy levels? Why not make it available for all levels?

Available on all levels in the PC version. You really need to check it out, Dave -- GREAT game.

There is no Tiger Woods 09 for the PC.

There is no Tiger Woods 09 for the PC.

Not needed. 08 is a great game, and there are new user-created courses coming out every week. I never buy games every year anyway -- always skip 1 or 2 years. Tiger Woods 08 will keep me or any cyber-golfer happy for a long time. Save yourself some bucks.

Like the thread title clearly states - these are things that bug ME.

I am not asking anyone to agree.

I'd love for an EA developer to cruise by and see I want 72-hole play now tourneys, no locked courses, etc, etc...

I agree on most of your points especially play now tourneys and no locked courses ... maybe next yr? lets hope.

While I can't argue with you on the PC TW, because I haven't played 08 (06 was the last one I bought), I can safely say that the money thing is all relative. If someone is like me, then my PC is a few years old so to get 08 to run even half decent would hardly be cheap lol.

But I will say this: TW 2004 on the PC was probably my favourite golf game of all time.

Is it so bad to have someone agree with you? I shudder to think what your response would have been had I disagreed (except for Tiger proofing) with you.....:wink:

Of course I want people to agree with every point I make about sports games. If they did, the games would be perfect - and I would never lose to a manual freak in Madden again.

Make sure you have plenty of PC hardware to run the game....
