Do you miss the confidence feature that was in TW08?

I thought it was pretty cool. Not sure why they took it out.

I miss it, I actually appreciated being able to check back and see my previous stats on each hole.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised they took it out. I wished they left it in, but modified it a bit. Showing you how you did on the hole in the past, but not with some gimmicky meter that helps you cheat so to speak.

After playing 09, there is really nothing I miss about 08. Except for courses they take out.

Confidence systems in games are basically programming cheats. When I play any game, I shut off all cheats, assists, feedback meters, hot zones, ball icons, whatever. I removed the aim arrow in Tiger 08 for the PC, for example. Also, I never use the grid: I read the green contours by moving the distance marker over the green and around the hole.

In other words, if I make a good/bad shot, I want to know I made it, and not because of some contrived confidence programming assist. So no, I don't miss it.

Question: After playing a round, do you take part in the drills your coach offers? or do you consider that a cheat? I don't. My reasoning for that is because of the new system, it helps rather than adds a cheat-just like the real thing. Golfers, pro and amatuer are always working on their swing. And believe me, i've done enough bad shots to warrant alot of practice!
