Tiger Woods 2008 -- Great on a Mini PC!

I realize this is of limited appeal these days, but I just had to share this.

I'm totally blown away by how great TW08 runs on this Beelink Mini PC I got for my Uncle.
It's running Windows 10 IOT LTSC and has an Intel Twin Lake N150 Processor(4C/4T, 6M Cache, up to 3.6GHz) and Intel UHD Graphics 24EUs 1000MHz.

It was $170 all in (comes with 500GB SSD and 16RAM preinstalled).

The value and performance is just astounding. I also couldn't believe how easy it was to get TW08 up and running on it.

It still plays a great game of golf and my goodness .. they are STILL cranking out new courses for the TW PC games over at CourseDownloads!

I know there are plenty of realism issues with this game, but man it's a great simple and easy to comprehend experience when playing it.

They did so many things "right" on the interaction design.

I also love how ROCKET fast the UI is. (always has been, even on old hardware back at the time)
Moving around settings and going into/out of rounds is just so quick.

It's really nice compared to how bloated that aspect has become on all the new games.

If I ever learn how to emulate on the gaming laptop I have, the ps2 era Tiger Woods games are the first I’ll try. Unfortunately my lack of patience wins out every time lol. Tiger Woods 03-08 got me through my teenage years. Would be great to revisit those games.

PS2 is pretty easy to get emulation going on also!
