I have all 3 systems and I am going with the Wii. If any sport (although I hate calling it a sport) is made for the Wii it is golf.

Re: Tiger Woods 10 for Wii or PS3?
I don't think Tigerman's post is entirely fair to this year's edition on the Wii. I heard a lot of mixed things about the motion control last year but the WM+ is really intriguing.
I've only played the game on the 360/PS3 this generation. I know the Wii version is basically the old gen version on steroids. Have all the cool new features made their way to the Wii version? I was big on the club tuner last year so is that in? Is there the option to play with the presentation camera instead of the follow camera? This is the year I give Tiger a real shot again the question is just which version, Wii or PS3.Comment

I have both. Xbox for me. Wii seems very cool but if I am going to swinging away then i am just going to go play actual golf. I live in Florida and can do that anytime. Plus I like just sitting on the couch and being lazy like someone else said.XBOX Live: VictimizationComment

Have all 3 systems, first day pick up for the wii, and a later day pick up for the 360, I like xbox live better than the playstation network.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 for Wii or PS3?
I have all three systems, and I have Tiger Woods 05 on PS2, 07 on Wii, '08 on 360, and '09 on PS3. I played '09 on Wii quite a bit, and have come to the same conclusion as I did with '07: it sucks.
Avoid the Wii version at all costs. Tiger Woods is superb when played with a controller, but frustrating and lackluster when played with waggle.
Also, this is one of EA's first games being developed with the MotionPlus. I would expect it'll take them a few tries to get it right. The only justification in buying the Wii version will be to get the free MotionPlus accessory that comes included with the purchase. I will be buying Tiger '10 on PS3 later on in the year.
Everyone who has played this game has been raving about how much better it is with MotionPlus. Unless they broke something dramatic right before the game went gold (highly unlikely), this version looks to be far and away the superior version in every respect other than graphics.
For me, it's a no-brainer. I've played the game on the PS3 the last two years and I'm ready for a more realistic challenge. The graphic hit is unfortunate, but it's more than compensated by the vastly superior controls and much greater content in box. 27 courses and disc golf? It almost makes the "next-gen" versions look like a glorified demo by comparison. Especially when you consider that even with the MotionPlus accessory included, it's the same price as the PS3/360 version.
No question, it's the Wii for me.Comment

Re: Tiger Woods 10 for Wii or PS3?
Well, in fairness, in the context of this particular discussion (whether to get TW10 for the Wii or the PS3), the MotionPlus accessory is in effect free, considering that if you were even contemplating getting the PS3 version for $59.99, it won't cost you a dime more to get the Wii version even with the accessory packed in. Plus you get 9 more courses and disc golf.
Unless you're a hopeless graphics whore, there's really no comparison. I rented TW09 on the Wii to see if I could deal with it and even though it was jarring at first, eventually I was having so much fun I didn't even think about the graphics anymore, and that was with a game that will surely be inferior to the MotionPlus-enhanced TW10.Comment

Thanks or the all your responses. Well before I posted started this thread I was 80% sure I was going to get the PS3 version, but now after much research and your answers to my question I am getting the Wii version! Thanks again!Comment

I got both PS3 and Wii. I am keeping both and enjoy both of them. If I were to pick one it would probably be the Wii version though.Comment

I don't think there's even a comparison to the Wii version and the other versions. EA hit a homerun with the Wii version. I was thinking about getting both and getting the PS3 a little later but now it's not even a consideration. It's hard to go back to flicking a joystick after taking swings and the WMP+ picking it up so realistically. The PS3 game would bore me to tears.Comment
