Duke Football? Hell yes it's Duke Football! --- Coach Cutcliffe -
Re: Any Reviews yet?
I guess Nintendo Power gave the Wii version a 90%
The overall rating on the PS3/360 was 70% as of now on gamerankings.
Im going with the WiiGT: Event Horizon 0Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
Doc,
Don't make your decision based on a Nintendo Power review. I would wait until some reputable members on this site give their impressions after they get the game. There will be some soon enough. Last year it was slow going getting impressions but this year with Wii Motion plus I'm sure there will be some quicker responses.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
That was a fairly straight forward review, and I actually agree with quite a bit of it. There really is nothing that new that warrants the full price of admission.
I will still never understand how they have such few courses when you think how many they have on the "old gen" consoles and wii.
I'm still a huge golf fan and will definitely be renting this one first to see if it deserves the price tag.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
The PS3/360 courses are significantly more detailed than the Wii/PS2 era courses. They're built from the ground up and really are superior visually. Could more be cranked out? I guess so. But it's not like EA just polished up the stuff that used to be on the PS2.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
Already know that there will be multiple DLC courses at $6-8 a piece for download, and the game on the demo just wasn't fun at all.
I was tempted to get the Wii version, but my Wii doesn't even get turned on anymore, so it's a total pass for me.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
I'm definitely not basing my decision on the demo because it was on the easiest level possible. The demo wasn't fun for that reason, but things will be much better when the difficulty level is increased. The online tournaments and upgraded tournament atmosphere was more than enough to get my $60.
If the game ends up stinking it up, I'll just play it a month and get $25 store credit to put on NCAA Football 10.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
I passed on it. 09 was more of the same from 08, which was from 07 and forward.

Re: Any Reviews yet?
Biggest reason is the size of the 360 DVD, or lack of size, when compared to the PS3 BD. EA developer have said as much. The PS3 BD could probably hold just as many as the Wii but, they are not going to put more on the PS3 version and make 360 owners upset.Comment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
Why would they put more on the PS3 BD when they can release them as DLC on PSN and XBL and charge $6-8 a piece?Favorite Sports Teams
NFL - Carolina Panthers
NBA - Charlotte Hornets
MLB - Cincinnati Reds
College Basketball - Wake Forest
NCAA Football - Appalachian StateComment

Re: Any Reviews yet?
If that was true, then you put the courses all on the PS3 version, and have the 360 version get them as free DLC. Win/win.
But no, EA would rather release courses later on for the $6-8 to make more money off the game.Comment
