A definite weakness of the game - especially when you consider consoles have hard drives.
I really don't get why they don't have them.

My only guess is laziness. You can even save in game on the iPhone version.

I can't remember the last time I played any sports game with an in-game save feature. It has to be over a decade.

Just another one of those things that for whatever reason, game devs don't bother with.

MLB the Show has it and it's very nice.

I just saved mid-round (6 holes in) on the Wii version last night. You're saying it's NOT on the ps3/360 versions? That's strange.

The Wii version has a "Save & Quit" option when you pause the game.

I am pretty sure MLB 2K9 had it too but it is crazy that sports games generally do not offer this. It's not like some games where they like checkpoint systems.

I can also confirm that the Wii version has in-game saves, at least in tour mode. I just saved after the front 9 in a tournament. The only thing is that you have to play it immediately when you next fire up the game. If you play another mode you will lose your save. I can't imagine the Wii version having this and not the PS3/360.

It may be because EA figures that the Wii version is for the casual crowd who won't like to sit thru a whole round, perhaps because you are standing while you are playing. It's stupid though they don't have it for the other versions. Could be the same reason why they unlocked all 27 Wii courses in the Play Now mode. Again they might think the casual Wii gamer wont bother trying to unlock all the courses. Than god they think that way because the Wii game is alot more simulation than the others.
