Question: saving profile on memory card

I have the 360 version. I haven't started Career mode because I want to save my player profile first, in case I want to start over at some point. Can I do this if I buy a memory card? I've never used a memory card before for the 360, so I don't know what's possible. I'm guessing I can simply overwrite my current profile with the profile saved on the card. Is that correct? I'm asking because I don't want to fork out a bunch of money for a card if I can't do this. Thanks.

Yes, not only can you.... you should.

My 360 died and I lost my Tiger 09 gamesave and had to start over. Not cool.

I back up everything I can to memory card now.

Good advice! I just finished unlocking all the courses and a complete set of expert clubs this morning. I never want to see those tournament challenges ever again.
