Putting tips for Pro and TOUR Pro?

I really don't have any trouble reading the break on putts, but hitting the ball straight really drives me crazy. Anyone have any putting tips to help me out? I used to flick the stick forward but i always seemed to push it way right or left...so after that I started holding the stick down and simply letting it go so it snaps back up....this always hits it straight, but a lot of the times it takes 6 or 7 times for it to work.

my problem completely is distance control

I don;t use the meter and it's nowhere near as intuitive as Links 2004. AFAICT

It's a tough putting system. Practice is really the only way. I've only just now started to find my accuracy and distance with long putts. And shoot some Stroke rounds and get your putting attribute up. That seems to eliminate a lot of the play in the putter, making it easier to keep your putts straight.

I rocked at putting in Links 2004 and it seemed so intuitive. Longer, harder back n forth equaled power/distance.

I suck at TW10 putting (no meter)

can someone PLEASE tell me how the systems are different as the lack of 1:1 swing on the putter and the %'s are confusing the HELL out of me

        much appreciated

What do you mean by percentages? Are you referring to the meter? If so, I can't help, seeing I don't use it.

Playing 300-400 holes of golf is how I got to the point where I'm now feeling okay about my putting skills. And just yesterday, I shut off the grid and I'm now putting without it. Go into practice mode where you can place the ball anywhere on the green and use mulligans, and putt until you get familiar with it.

            thanks yes I'll keep practicving

no even with the meter turned OFF there is still a percentage of hit power displayed based on where the cone is placed.

Is that not accurate estimation of takeaway distance?

does anyone who is very familiar with Links 2004 feel comfortable with this new system and what do you use to base your speed?
